What a day September 18th was; Jaeda's FIFTH Birthday and Rio's FIRST birthday. My mom and dad came into town to help celebrate this special day. Jaeda had her girlfriends from school over for party. The party was fabulous and so much fun. The girls had a tea party, with pink lemonade tea, raspberry scones, mini bagels with strawberry cream cheese, fruit, little japanese cookies and jelly beans (pink of course). They beaded bracelets and played pin the candle on the cupcake. And when Jaeda blew out the five little candles on her strawberry cupcake she turned FIVE! She had a wonderful time with all of her friends. It was a wonderful fun filled day, Kalea and Rio had a blast too. In fact, Kalea did not even know that it wasn't her birthday. Jaeda, being the sweet sister that she is, let Kalea open gifts and even help her blow out the candles :) What a day, Rio got to have his first sweet. Well the cake I made was just about as healthy as I could make; but I did put dark chocolate shavings in it. Rio LOVED it!
Jaeda : sweet, caring, cautious, tender hearted, wonderful big sister, dramatic, loves to dress up, and color and craft, has a beautiful voice and sings constantly, she is such an amazing daughter and we look forward to how she uses the talents the Lord has given her.
Rio : full of joy, loves to cuddle, LOVES smoothies (every kind I make, including spinach avocado flax), loves to wrestle and play with his sisters, dance and claps to music, LOVES to throw everything, has started to walk, but will crawl when he wants to get somewhere fast. Loves to play peek-a-boo. Rio is such an awesome easy going little boy and he brings so much joy to our family.
