Another 98' day with heat index well over 105'. So what better to do then soak up the Charlotte sun relaxing on the lake. Jeff and Angela invited the team up to their beautiful lake house for a day of fun, food, friends and boating. This was Kalea's first time swimming in a lake. She LOVED it, splashing and kicking and laughing the entire time. Even after the 4 times that Steve dunked her. Jaeda, on the other hand, well she's still afraid of the water. How can she be? I ask myself. DId we not spend the entire last summer at the Y pool? She'd rather just eat ice pops and watermelon all day long. She did really enjoy the boat ride that Jeff took us on. He drove really slow for a "girlie" ride. This was Jaeda's first time actually getting up on "plane" on a boat, and Lauryn (who is preggers) was aboard too so Jeff even slowed down when going over the big waves. We had the best Saturday in a long time. And to end it off, we just had to watch a soccer game that Jeff taped. What can be better then that?
